The Pop Up Museum will host three more museums throughout the year
Bucharest, February 22, 2021 – Sun Plaza continues in 2021 to bring museums closer to Bucharest with a series of unconventional exhibitions, brought together under the same unique cultural concept: Pop Up Museums. This year’s series begins with a premiere photo exhibition dedicated to the old-fashioned shopping, made in partnership with the Municipal Museum of Bucharest.
The journey through history will begin with a “walk” on the Lipscani street, where retailers laid the foundations of trade in the Capital, opening the appetite for comfort of Bucharest residents. They will certainly gaze in front of the Lafayette Gallery window from the 1930s, today the Victoria Store, an emblematic space for interwar Bucharest. The images also show the evolution of the way the goods are presented, the attention to detail, but also the promotional messages. These and many other interesting stories can be discovered between February 22 and March 7, from Monday to Sunday, between 10.00 and 21.00, on the 1st floor, in the central area of the Sun Plaza Shopping Center.

Because there are many other museums worth visiting, Sun Plaza invites visitors to discover them and participate in a raffle. All those who present at the Sun Plaza Info Point a ticket from any museum in Bucharest visited during the Pop Up Museums will be able to win one of the three Extra Prizes that will be offered by drawing lots.
