Sun Plaza brings the stories of three museums to a series of unconventional exhibitions!
Between August 17-24, visitors to the mall will be able to go on a train journey, in a special world full of stories. Models of locomotives and wagons, special caps from the controller uniform with a history dating back 150 years, original historical documents, lanterns, but also old telephones that played an essential role in the movement of trains, can be admired in the shopping center, in the Sun Atrium area.
All the exhibits of the Romanian Railway Museum perfectly illustrate the accelerated development of the railway infrastructure in the first 100 years of existence. Visitors will be able to find out the history of the means of transport that formed the basis of Romania’s modernization, starting from the first animal-drawn railway built in 1846, to the first railway that connected, 20 years later, Bucharest to Giurgiu, to the trains “Blue Arrow” type that people take on vacation today.
And because there are many other museums worth visiting, Sun Plaza invites visitors to discover them, and to participate in a raffle. All those who come to Info Point with a ticket from any museum in Bucharest visited during the Pop Up Museums will be able to win one of the three Extra Tourist Kits that will be offered by drawing lots, in November.
