• A different kind of School: travel, play and learn!

Come to Sun Plaza this week to explore five fascinating countries!
Between March 27 – 31, from 10:00-14:00 everyday, we will travel to Finland, Australia, Mexico, Egypt and Japan to leran a lot of interesting things.
We will learn about their history, we will create unique objects from their culture, we’ll sing and dance and play games!

Lesson: “Finland”
Find out why Finland is called the land of a thousand lakes and islands;
Session “Did you know”;
Learn to play “Ketju”
Create a Virpomaan an Easter decoration used.

Lesson: “Australia”
Find out why kangaroos and emus birds live only in Australia;
Session “Did you know”;
Learn to play “Down Down Down”;
Create a Didgeridoo, a traditional musical instrument.

Lesson: “Mexico”
Find out why Mexico is considered a country of extremes;
Session “Did you know”;
Sash and dance “La Raspa”
Create a cape “Poncho” and a hat “Sombrero”.

Lesson: “Egypt”
Learn the secrets of the pyramids and Pharaon who governed Ancient Egypt;
Session “Did you know”;
Learn to play a memory game with Egyptian hieroglyphs;
Create necklaces in the style of the pharaohs.

Lesson: “Japan”
We learn interesting things about samurai and sumo wrestlers;
Session “Did you know”;
Learn to play “Kendama”
Create origami.
